Record by voice
Hold the microphone, say "twenty five thousand on lunch", and the transaction is created. It is the fastest way to record something while you are still standing at the counter.

How it works, and what leaves your phone
Speech recognition is done by your operating system: Apple's on iPhone, Google's on Android. The audio never comes to us.
What travels is the resulting text, which is then read for amount, merchant, category and date. So the privacy question is the same as typing the sentence yourself.
Free notes
The same sheet accepts typed free text, which is useful when you cannot speak out loud. "Paid 45000 for the taxi yesterday" works exactly like saying it.
Dates in plain language are understood: yesterday, last Friday, on the 3rd.
Allowance
Voice and note capture share the free daily allowance with receipt scanning flows. When you reach it, manual recording is still there and always unlimited.
Which account it lands in
Voice has no default account, on purpose. If you name the source yourself, "I took it out of cash", "from my payroll account", the app can match it against your own accounts, including the manual ones and their nicknames, because that sentence is an instruction from you rather than a guess about a bank message.
If you do not name it, the transaction lands in Principal.
Troubleshooting
It does not hear me. Check the microphone and speech recognition permissions. On iPhone both are asked separately.
It gets the amount wrong in my language. Say the figure the way you would write it. Very long spoken numbers, "three million five hundred and twenty thousand", are the hardest case.
The category is wrong. Correct it once. The app remembers the correction for that title and applies it next time.
