Notifications and reminders
Everything the app can send you, in one panel: Settings, then Notifications.
What it can remind you about
| Reminder | Where it is configured |
|---|---|
| Daily or weekly, to record what you spent | The notifications panel |
| Credit card payment, with estimated interest for the month | On the card itself, when you set a payment day |
| Debt payment | On the debt, when you set a payment day |
| Subscription renewal, days before it charges | On each subscription |
| Cancel a trial, before it turns into a charge | On each subscription |
| Savings goal, on the day you choose to set money aside | On the goal |
| Tax deadline | The tax module |
| Capture results and export progress | Automatic, tied to the action |
The panel is a facade, not a second owner
Every switch in the panel reads and writes the same setting as the screen it belongs to. Turning off subscription reminders here is the same act as turning them off in Subscriptions. There is no second copy of the truth that can drift from the first.
The master switch
One switch silences everything. Turning it back on asks for the notification permission again if needed and reschedules what you had.
The daily reminder is deliberately polite: on a day when another alert already reached you, a payment, a savings prompt, it steps aside. Any notification already brought you back to the app, and two on the same day is one too many.
If notifications never arrive
- Check the system permission for AI Money.
- Check the master switch in the panel.
- On Android, check that your phone is not freezing the app in the background. Manufacturer battery savers are the usual culprit.
